Cypress Stops Kennedy

The Cypress High football team defeated rival Kennedy, 20-0 in an Empire League game on Friday at Western High. The Centurions got at touchdown run fro Isaac Hurtado and a touchdown pass from Garrett Crenshaw to Elias Rios to take a 13-0 lead into halftime.

But the game remained a two-score difference until late in the third, when Aaron Bojorquez returned a punt for a touchdown to extend the lead to 20-0. The Centurion defense held the Fighting Irish off the scoreboard.
